Absentee Ballot Deadline Looms

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – Missourians who plan to vote absentee must get their ballot soon.The secretary of state’s office says voters have until Wednesday to request an absentee ballot by submitting an application to their local election authority. Voters have until Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. to vote in person by absentee ballot. Election Day is Nov. 6.To cast an absentee ballot in Missouri, voters must have a reason that they cannot vote on Election Day, such as travel plans or illness.
