12/19: Severe Storm Threat

A strong low pressure area will move into southwestern Missouri this evening. Showers and t-storms will develop ahead of the low by early evening in southwestern Missouri and quickly move to the northeast into the Lake of the Ozarks area by mid-evening giving areas along and south of I-70 a severe threat through 2 a.m. The primary threat with these storms is damaging wind but an isolated tornado is also possible.Track storms live with us at http://www.abc17news.com/livetracking.php and tune to ABC17 for updates as storms move through.
