Arctic air has invaded Mid-Missouri and will give us a bitter start to the day Monday. Temperatures will drop to near 20 degrees by early in the morning with northwesterly winds gusting as high as 30 mph at times, bringing wind chills down into the single digits to start the day. Afternoon high temperatures will only reach the low 30s with wind chill readings in the teens to low 20s through mid-afternoon as northwesterly winds remain gusty. Winds will diminish by evening with temperatures falling into the teens for overnight lows Monday night with clear skies.
