11/30: Roller Coaster November

November temperatures have been as warm as 77 degrees (Nov 10) and as cold as 16 degrees (Nov 27). Highs topped 70 degrees three times during the month and there were five days where the temperature never reached 45 degrees. Four strong cold fronts moved through the area during month. Each front dropped highs between 15 to 30 degrees as it passed.The average temperature for the month (through Nov 29) 45.6 degrees, which is 0.7 degrees above average. December will start off very warm with near-record highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
