11/14: Quiet Stretch of Weather
The polar jet stream will stay north of mid-Missouri through the weekend, keeping cold air well to our north and warm air to our south. As a result, our temperatures will be seasonal with daytime highs in the 50s and nights in the 30s. The west to east winds aloft (zonal flow) will have waves embedded in them occasionally to bring some clouds through Missouri but no rain is expected through Sunday. Some forecast models indicate a stronger area of low pressure moving in Monday- Tuesday which may have enough moisture to produce some showers. Overall, fairly quiet and mild weather is expected through the Thanksgiving weekend in Missouri.
