Wanted Man Captured in St. Louis
A man wanted by Boone County deputies for an October assault has been arrested in St. Louis.The Boone County Sheriff’s Department says 23-year-old Brian Burns was arrested in St. Louis over the weekend. Burns is accused of busting into his girlfriend’s home on Millbrook Drive and sexually assaulting her on October 15, 2012. He then held the victim against her will until she was able to escape after he fell asleep.Burns has been charged with sexual assault, felonious restraint and first degree burglary. His bond has been set at $262,000 and he remains in the Boone County Jail. Burns is scheduled to have a hearing Wednesday at 9 a.m.
