School Safety Topic of Meeting

In wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, school safety will be a topic at a meeting in Randolph County.Tuesday night the Randolph County Pachyderm Club will host a conference, “America after Newtown: School Safety and the Second Amendment.”Republican State Reps. Casey Guernsey and Paul Curtman will speak.They introduced a controversial proposal last week in response to Obama’s executive order on gun control. Their proposal specifies that a federal official must not enforce a federal firearms law when the gun is manufactured and remains in the state.The presentation starts at 7:15 p.m. at Nelly’s Restaurant in Moberly. All are welcome.
