1/30: Arctic Air Returns

After two consecutive days with record high temperatures, arctic air will return and drop temperatures to below freezing from Wednesday morning through Friday night. Temperatures will start off in the low-to-mid 30s Wednesday morning, falling into the 20s through the afternoon. Northwesterly winds near 20 mph will gust to 35 mph at times, making it feel more like the teens Wednesday. Skies will become partly cloudy and Wednesday night’s lows will drop into the teens as winds diminish. Highs Thursday will only reach near 30, dropping to near 10 Thursday night. After another day of sub-freezing temperatures Friday we will finally start to thaw out for the weekend as temperatures climb to near 50 by Sunday.
