RECALL ROUNDUP: Taquitos, chicken broth and smoke alarms recalled
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Chicken and cheese taquitos sold at Aldi
Nearly 25,000 pounds of Best-Way Sandwiches Incorporated's Casa Mamita Chicken and Cheese Taquitos have been recalled.
The company issued the recall because the taquitos could possibly be contaminated with metal.
The recall affects 20-oz. carton packages with best-by dates of July 3 and Sept. 25, 2025 with a UPC code of 4061459337471.
Those who bought the recalled taquitos should return them or throw them away.
Great Value chicken broth
Walmart has recalled more than 2,000 cases of its Great Value chicken broth.
The grocery store chain says it issued the recall because of a packaging issue that could cause the broth to spoil. The recall is for Great Value's family-sized 48-oz. cartons with a use-by date of March 25, 2026.
Walmart says the recalled broth was sold in nine states, including Missouri.
If you bought the chicken broth you're urged to throw it away or you can request a full refund.
Three61 Samurai smoke alarms
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 328,000 Three61 Samurai Smoke Alarms.
The agency says the smoke alarms can malfunction and not alert users of a fire, which poses a risk of smoke inhalation or even death.
CPSC says the smoke alarms were sold in a pack of two or three by HSN nationwide and on its website from July 2020 through November 2024 with model number SM1.
Those who purchased the recalled alarms should contact Three61 for a free replacement, including shipping. Purchasers should write "recalled" in permanent marker on the smoke alarm, take a photo and submit it to the company.
Three61 says it is contacting all known purchasers directly.
