RECALL ROUNDUP: Oven gloves and vehicles recalled; cucumber callback expands
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Temp-tations Oven Gloves
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 1.1 million Temp-tations Oven Gloves.
Regulators issued the recall because the gloves can fail to protect users from heat which increases the risk of getting burned.
The recalled gloves were sold in single pairs or sets of two from August 2018 through August 2024 in a variety of colors on QVC television shows and on QVC.com.
The CPSC asks users to stop using the gloves immediately and contract QVC to receive a refund.
Cucumber recall expanded
A cucumber recall has been expanded over salmonella concerns.
The Food and Drug Administration recalled all sizes of fresh cucumbers made by SunFed Produce, Baloian Farms and Russ Davis.
According to federal regulators, the recalled cucumbers were sold in several states including Missouri between Oct. 12 and Nov. 26 at various food service and retail stores.
As of the first week of Nov. 68 people in 19 states were sickened with salmonella linked to the cucumbers, according to the FDA. No deaths have been reported.
If you purchased these recalled cucumbers you are urged to throw them away.
Honda vehicles
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports over 205,000 Honda vehicles have been recalled.
The recall impacts 2025-2025 Honda Passports and 2023-2025 Honda Pilots.
Honda issued the recall over a possible fuel leak that could increase the risk of a fire. The automaker says dealers will inspect and repair the fuel filler next tube and pipe if needed for free.
Owners will be notified by mail on Jan 6., according to Honda.
