RECALL ROUNDUP: Carrots, breakfast foods and wall beds recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Grimmway Farms carrot recall

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled organic whole and baby carrots made by Grimmway Farms because of an E-Coli outbreak.

The carrots were sold at retail stores nationwide and include three dozen brands like Bunny Lu, Good and Gather, Marketside and Nature's Promise.

According to the FDA, the whole carrots were sold from Aug. 14 through Oct. 23 but do not have a best-if-used-by date. The organic baby carrots, however, have best-if-used-by dates from Sept. 11 through Nov. 12.

One death has been reported along with dozens of illnesses across the U.S., including Missouri.

Those who purchased the recalled carrots should throw them away.

Great Value breakfast foods

More than 43,000 breakfast food items sold at Walmart have been recalled.

The Food and Drug Administration recalled the breakfast foods because they may contain plastic, making them unsafe to eat.

The recall impacts 16.5-oz. Great Value Cheese Danish and Great Value Cinnamon Rolls.

These recalled breakfast foods should be thrown away if purchased.

Dorel Home Furnishings Wall Beds

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over 69,000 Dorel Home Furnishings Wall Beds.

Regulators say the wall beds can detatch from the wall and fall on top of someone causing them serious injury.

According to the CPSC, the recalled beds were sold at retail stores and online at stores like Target, Walmart, Home Depot, and more. The wall beds were sold from Mary 2021 through April 2024 in white, light oak, gray oak, black oak, espresso, walnut and natural shades.

Owners should stop using the bed. Dorel Home Furnishings says it will contact owners directly.
