Savencia Cheese

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled seven types of Brie made by Savencia Cheese.

Regulators say the cheese may be contaminated with listeria.

The affected cheese includes:

  • Aldi Emporium Selection Brie, 12 oz./8 oz. Brie
  • Supreme Oval 7 oz., 6oz./7 oz.
  • La Bonne Vie Brie, 6 oz./8 oz.
  • La Bonne Vie Camember, 6 oz./8 oz.
  • 12 oz./8 oz. Industrial Brie
  • Market Basket Brie 6oz. /8 oz.
  • Glenview Farms Spreadable Brie, 2 pound/3 pound

The recalled cheese was sold at Aldi stores in six states, including Missouri. Aldi stores have been told to remove the recalled cheese from store shelves immediately.

Purchasers are urged to throw the cheese away or return it to the store for a full refund.

Mazda SUV recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recalled about 150,000 Mazda SUVs.

The recalled impacts 2024-2025 CX-90 SUV's and 2025 CX-70 SUV's.

The carmaker issued the recall due to an issue with the vehicle's dash electric supply unit.

Mazda says the issue can affect the vehicle's defroster, seatbelt warning, 360-degree view monitor function and the voltage battery cooling system, which can increase the risk of a crash.

The company says dealers will reprogram the dash ESU with improved software for free.

Owners will be notified by mail by Dec. 30.

GoveeLife and Govee smart electric space heaters

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled nearly 513,000 GoveeLife and Govee smart electric space heaters.

Regulators say the heaters can overheat, posing burn and fir hazards. The CPSC also says the heaters do not comply with voluntary safety standards.

The recalled heaters were sold in black and white on Amazon, in the TikTok shop and on Govee's website from September 2021 through September 2024.

Users are urged to contact the company for a refund.
