RECALL ROUNDUP: Cinnamon powder and Ford vehicles recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Alsi Fine Food powder cinnamon recall

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled 7-oz. plastic bags of powdered cinnamon made by Alsi Fine Foods.

Regulators issued the recall on Aug. 29 after the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services tested the product and found lead.

The recalled product was sold at retail stores in Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.

The FDA says those who have bought the recalled powder cinnamon should not use it or return it to the store from where it was purchased.

Ford vehicle recall

Ford has recalled nearly 91,000 trucks and SUVs with several different model years.

The automaker issued the recall because the vehicle's engine intake valves can crack and cause engine failure.

No injuries have been reported.

The affected vehicles include:

  • Ford Bronco
  • Ford Edge
  • Ford Explorer
  • Ford F-150
  • Lincoln Aviator
  • Lincoln Nautilus

The company says it will fix the issue by doing a engine cycle test and will replace the engine for free if needed.
