RECALL ROUNDUP: Fiji water, cordless tillers/cultivators and bedrails recalled

Fiji water bottles

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled 1.9 million bottles of Fiji water.

Health regulators say the bottles may contain manganese in addition to three bacterial genera but the FDA says it will likely not cause any adverse health consequences.

The company says the affected bottles were sold across the U.S. and online between Feb. 1. and March 3 of this year. The bottles affected have production dates of Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 24-25 of 2023.

Consumers are urged to throw the water bottles away.

Black and Decker V20 cordless tillers/cultivators

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 44,400 Black and Decker V20 cordless tillers/cultivators.

Federal regulators say users can incorrectly attach the bottom portion of the tool, which could cause it to rotate toward the user and could cause them to get cut.

The CPSC says the affected tool was sold at Lowe's and other stores nationwide and online from October 2022 through April 2024.

Users should contact Craftsman for new assembly instructions and stop using the product until then.

Medline Industries bedrails

Federal regulators have also recalled 1.5 million Medline Industries bedrails.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall because users can become trapped in the rails or between the item and the side of the mattress, which puts users at risk of suffocation.

The recalled rails were sold between July 2009 and March 2024 at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and other stores nationwide and online.

Users should stop using the bedrails and contact Medline for a refund.
