RECALL ROUNDUP: Nissan and Toyota calling back thousands of vehicles

Katie Greathouse

Automaker Nissan announced the company is recalling about 300,000 vehicles because of airbag inflators.

The company said the inflators could explode if a propellant inside is exposed to high humidity or extreme temperatures.

Toyota is recalling about 700,000 vehicles due to a fuel pump that can fail and cause engines to stall. Company officials said a permanent fix is still being worked on.
