MoDOT to begin Interstate 70 pavement repair project Monday

MGN Online

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MoDOT will begin a pavement repair project on Interstate 70 Monday on the westbound lanes near the Route O & Route J intersection.

A contractor will be making improvements to the I-70 driving surface in Cooper, Boone, and Callaway Counties.

Officials say this will impact evening and overnight traffic along Interstate 70 in mid-Missouri over the next several weeks.

Crews plan to address westbound lanes between Rangeline Street and the Route 63 connector in Columbia after they finish the first westbound lanes. Both locations are expected to be complete by the end of the week.

This work will require individual lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
