Job Description:

ABC17/FOX22 television stations (News Press & Gazette Broadcasting) is seeking a full-time Account Executive who is a highly driven professional committed to working with local business on their marketing strategies in the Mid-Missouri area.

The successful candidate will complete a training program, which includes hands-on learning. In our modern media world, the position will utilize a multi-platform approach to help customers find advertising solutions across many forms of media.  This position will be required to aggressively pursue new business and develop long-term relationships with those clients.  It will also handle an established book of business.  The candidate will work with our experienced team of account executives to represent our stations to develop new accounts to advertise with us.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have excellent verbal, written and computer skills and the capacity for media sales.  Experience in television/media/digital sales is preferred but not required.  Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver’s license and pass a drug test and background check.

Hours/Schedule:  This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility required by the employee.
