Judge grants permanent injunction, protects Planned Parenthood

U.S. District Judge Nanette Laughrey granted a permanent injunction Wednesday, protecting Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri’s license to perform abortions in Columbia. The state tried to strip the organization of its license for not having a doctor with hospital privileges. Planned Parenthood still can’t perform abortions until it has a doctor with those privileges.

Convicted murderer executed

Missouri executed a convicted killer Wednesday night.
