Commission approves Missouri Department of Transportation transportation program

The state’s Highways and Transportation Commission approved the Missouri Department of Transportation’s statewide construction program this week. The $700 million transportation improvement program lists all projects planned for a five-year period, from 2014 to 2018. Linn State Tech to get new name next year

Missouri’s only state-funded, two-year technical college is getting a new name. Gov. Jay Nixon signed legislation Thursday that will change the name of Linn State Technical College to the State Technical College of Missouri. Osage County Sheriff’s Office issues public safety alert for salespeople possibly casing homes

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public safety alert after several complaints by residents of people going door-to-door to sell educational materials.
