State ballot issues

The final item on the statewide November ballot is not an amendment.

The primary effect of Amendment 7 would be to cut off efforts to implement ranked-choice voting before they get off the ground.

Amendment 6 would amend the Missouri Constitution to help boost funding for salaries and benefits for former and current law enforcement personnel.

Amendment 5 would create a new casino gambling license specifically for a casino on the Osage River.

Probably the best-known of all this year’s ballot questions, Amendment 3 would overturn Missouri’s near-total abortion ban.

Amendment 2 asks voters if they want to legalize sports betting in Missouri.
