Food vendors at Cole County Fair pass inspection

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) All four food stands for the Jefferson City Jaycees Fair passed an inspection by the Cole County Health Department on Monday. Vendors included Cajun Catfish, RJ’s Real Italian Ice and PBJ Happee Day Shows, which is operating a hamburger stand and taco stand. Mokane man charged after chase, allegedly hit Sheriff’s deputy vehicle while driving wrong way on highway

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Mokane man has been charged after the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office says he led multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase Sunday afternoon. Jonathan Irwin, 28, is charged with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, first-degree property damage, second-degree property damage and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
