State of emergency in Russia’s Yakutia expanded over fires

By VLADIMIR ISACHENKOV Associated Press MOSCOW (AP) — Russian authorities have expanded a state of emergency in northeast Siberia to bring in outside resources to combat wildfires that have engulfed the vast region.
