A grass fire is still burning in Cooper County after a controlled burn got out-of-hand. The fire is located off Highway 1-79 on Oerly Drive. Cooper County Fire Protection District Chief Dave Gehm said they have called in Prairie Home from mutual aid and they’ve been on scene for about an hour.
