Correction: State Park Fracking-Ohio story

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — In a story published November 16, 2023, about fracking in Ohio state parks, The Associated Press erroneously reported that an Ohio commission to consider fracking on public lands was not formalized under former Ohio Gov. John Kasich from 2011 to 2018 and that its first meeting was December 2022. The commission was formalized in 2017 and first met in March 2018.
