Flood Warning issued October 2 at 2:09AM CDT until October 4 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Chariton River near Prairie Hill affecting Chariton and Macon
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Chariton River near Prairie Hill.

* WHEN…From this morning to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Fields along the river begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning to a crest of 16.1 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

dangers of flooding.
