Flood Warning issued June 11 at 8:24PM CDT until June 17 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Missouri River at Glasgow affecting Saline, Howard and Chariton
Counties.

Missouri River at Boonville affecting Moniteau, Cooper, Howard and
Boone Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Boonville.

* WHEN…From Friday morning to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 21.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas along the river
flood. At 23.8 feet, Easley River Road and Smith Hatchery Road
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:04 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river will hover near flood stage through Saturday
night. It will then rise to 22.5 feet early Monday afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
