* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southeastern Grundy County in north central Missouri…
Northern Linn County in north central Missouri…
North Central Livingston County in north central Missouri…
Northern Macon County in north central Missouri…
Southern Sullivan County in north central Missouri…
Southern Adair County in northeastern Missouri…

* Until 200 AM CDT.

* At 1100 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
La Plata, Browning, Laredo, Purdin, Elmer, South Gifford and
Winigan.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
