Flood Warning issued June 7 at 1:25PM CDT until June 8 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

…The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Hinkson Creek at Columbia.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Hinkson Creek at Columbia.

* WHEN…Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Right bank 50 feet downstream of the old
Providence Road bridge begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this afternoon
to 16.7 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage late this afternoon to 9.5 feet this evening. It will rise
to 13.3 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall to
4.3 feet Tuesday evening. It will rise to 5.0 feet late Wednesday
morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
