Flood Warning issued May 18 at 1:52PM CDT until May 20 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Lamine River near Otterville affecting Cooper County.

Moniteau Creek near Fayette affecting Howard County.

Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Petite Saline Creek near Boonville.

* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 19.5 feet, The creek floods U Highway about 4 miles
southeast of Boonville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 7.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 20.8 feet early Wednesday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
