Flood Warning issued April 13 at 11:58PM CDT until April 15 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Big Creek at Blairstown affecting Johnson, Cass and Henry
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Big Creek at Blairstown.

* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, The west bank of the creek begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 18.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to flood stage tomorrow
morning. It will then fall to 13.2 feet Thursday morning. It
will rise to 14.9 feet Friday morning. It will then fall
again and remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
