Flood Warning issued April 2 at 9:35AM CDT until April 5 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

…The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following river in Missouri…

Mid Fork Salt River near Holliday.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mid Fork Salt River near Holliday.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 18.1 feet, Water exits the left bank downstream of the
State Highway A bridge. Adjacent fields begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 17.9 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
evening.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor this
developing situation and issue follow up statements as conditions
change.
