Flood Warning issued March 11 at 9:00AM CDT until March 11 at 12:15PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of north central Missouri, including the
following counties, Carroll and Chariton.

* WHEN…Until 1215 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 857 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate rain is
ending across the area. Flooding is already occurring in the
warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Bosworth, Mendon and Triplett.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
