Ellyse Edwards joined ABC 17 News as a multimedia journalist in July 2026.

She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in communication, a minor in journalism, and a certificate in professional communication.

Before joining ABC 17, Ellyse gained experience in live television production, sports broadcasting, and video production, which developed her passion for storytelling.

Ellyse enjoys connecting with people across Mid-Missouri and telling the stories that matter to the community.
