Sutton Parker

Sutton Parker joined ABC 17 News in May 2026 as a summer reporting intern. He is currently pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Mass Communication, which was named the No. 1 media program in the country by the 2025 Broadcast Education Association rankings.

Sutton serves as an anchor and reporter for OU Nightly, the top-rated student-run newscast in the country.

An Austin, Texas native, Sutton grew up as a die-hard Texas Longhorns fan before proudly jumping ship to become a Sooner for college. When he isn't tracking down stories or in the newsroom, he enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends.
