Missouri River remains at ‘moderate flood stage’ in Jefferson City Thursday

Federal and state agencies continued to closely monitor the Missouri River in Jefferson City.

Early morning measurements Thursday indicated the river remained at a moderate flood stage.

The National Weather Service projected a decrease in the water level into the weekend, however the forecasted rain Thursday through Saturday may affect the flood stage.
