Boil advisory to be issued for Westphalia residents

Some Wesphalia residents will be under a boil advisory starting Tuesday morning due to water line construction.

The Osage County Emergency Operations Center posted on its Facebook that Osage Public Water District #2 will issue a boil water advisory for the Westphalia area from 8 a.m. on Tuesday until about 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The advisory affects customers from the intersection of Highway 133 and Highway 63 through Westphalia to the Maries River. It also includes people living off of County Roads 512 and 615.

Residents or businesses that are on private well water are not included in the advisory.

If residents have questions they are asked to contact Mary Buscher at 573-619-5042 or the Osage County Health Department at 573-897-3103.
