13-year-old dies in Maries County fire
The Maries County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Vichy Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office to investigate a deadly fire.
It happened Sunday afternoon on Maries County Road 438.
A 13-year-old girl was inside the home during the fire and died.
“Our prayers go out to everyone involved,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
The investigation is ongoing and the office said it expects to have more updates.
