More nice weather on the way for St. Patrick’s Day

ST. PATRICK’S DAY: We’ll follow up a nice day with another one just like it on Sunday. Temperatures will take a few hours to warm back into the low 50s once again, so grab the jacket if you have any morning plans outside. We’ll see abundant sunshine once again and winds out of the northwest up to 10 mph.

TONIGHT: We’ll see another calm night around Mid-Missouri. Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will cool off once again into the upper 20s and low 30s by daybreak. Northwest winds will swing out of a more northeasterly direction overnight but will remain light.

EXTENDED: Nice weather continues into Monday with a largely similar story-sunshine and highs in the low 50s. Our tranquil weather pattern is interrupted Tuesday with a disturbance sliding south out of Canada. As this system moves through it will bring some light rain chances Tuesday into Wednesday morning before exiting. Rainfall amounts still appear to be light, in the 0.25″ neighborhood. We get into the upper 50s and low 60s to close out the week. Check back with ABC 17 News on-air and online for the latest forecast.
