Nice weekend ahead with chilly nights, mild days

TONIGHT: Winds will finally back off into the evening as high pressure starts to move in. Underneath mostly clear skies, temperatures will cool off into the mid to upper 20s for lows as winds under 10 mph from the northwest overnight.

SATURDAY: Although the day will start off cold, sunshine will help warm us to near 50 in the afternoon with a light northwesterly breeze under 10 mph.

EXTENDED: St. Patrick’s Day looks nice with mostly sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the low 50s. If you’re planning to have any outdoor festivities, it’s a green light with one of the better weekends that we have had here in a while. The next 7 days look rather quiet, as temperatures gradually warm into the mid to upper 50s by Wednesday and making it into the low 60s by the end of next week. Our next shot of rain will move in Tuesday night and Wednesday, as a weak front moves through. Check back with ABC 17 News on-air and online for the latest forecast.
