Moberly police arrest two people for having meth

Moberly police arrested two people after finding drugs in their vehicle early Thursday morning.

According to a news release, officers pulled the vehicle over near the intersection of Rollins Street and Clark Street.

Officers said they searched the vehicle and found 10 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a scale.

Officers arrested Jason Roland and Lani Peacock.

Authorities said while being transported, Peacock told officers she had a pipe on her.

Police said they were assisted by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol K9.
