Colorado woman could face charges following Cooper County drug bust

A Colorado woman could face charges after the Missouri State Highway Patrol made a drug bust in Cooper County.

Melissa K. James, 33, of Windsor, Colorado, was arrested by troopers around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the Highway Patrol, Windsor was in possession of 5 pounds of marijuana and 2 ounces of mushrooms.

Windsor was arrested on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

At last check, prosecutors haven’t filed formal charges against Windsor.
