What to watch in last multistate primaries of midterm season

Months after the first nominating contests of the 2022 midterm season, New Hampshire, Delaware and Rhode Island will bring up the rear with their primaries on Tuesday. That will leave the winners a mere eight weeks to make their case ahead of the Nov. 8 general election. In New Hampshire, GOP primaries for U.S. Senate and two U.S. House seats highlight the strength of far-right candidates and the influence of former President Donald Trump as candidates compete for a chance to take on Democratic incumbents. In Rhode Island, Gov. Dan McKee faces four Democratic challengers, while a crowd of candidates is vying to replace retiring Democratic Rep. Jim Langevin.
