Police find human remains under Lake of the Ozarks boat dock

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Osage Beach police are trying to find out what killed a person whose body was found under a boat dock on the Lake of the Ozarks.

Police were sent Thursday morning to 5020 Osage Beach Parkway near the Grand Glaize Bridge on a report of a body found near a boat dock, according to an Osage Beach Police Department news release. Officers found the body and removed it with the help of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

An autopsy will take place in Springfield, Missouri, police said. No other information was released.
