Teenager arrested after photos of local underage girls posted on social media
The Sedalia Police Department arrested a man after it was made aware of several Instagram accounts that posted inappropriate photos of several local underage females, a news release said.
Officers investigated the incidents and identified Kenori Grant Jr. as being one of the people responsible for the accounts.
Officers executed a search warrant at Grant’s home on Friday afternoon and took Grant into custody.
Police arrested Grant on suspicion of trafficking for sexual exploitation, promoting child pornography, possession of child pornography and furnishing child pornography to a minor.
Police said the investigation will continue for additional suspects.
