No one hurt when Jefferson City school buses crash

Two Jefferson City school buses crashed on a snowy road Friday afternoon, and students were on board both buses at the time of the crash.

No one was hurt in the crash, but Jefferson City Public Schools spokeswoman Ryan Burns said the buses were heading to the Simonsen Ninth Grade Center when they had a minor crash on East McCarty Street. One of the buses rear-ended the other bus.

ABC 17 News crews on scene saw students transferring to another bus shortly after the crash.

Jefferson City Public Schools posted on social media that First Student drivers are being delayed by the weather conditions.
