Police investigate gunshot at Jefferson City apartment complex
The Jefferson City Police Department is investigating after officers found evidence of a gunshot.
Officers responded to Capital City Apartments in the 500 block of E. Dunklin Street around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday night.
ABC 17 News crews saw crime scene tape in the area and at least five patrol vehicles.
Police said they found evidence of a gunshot, but no signs of a victim.
Officers at the scene said they were speaking to a witness.
