LU establishes scholarship fund in honor of student killed in shooting

Lincoln University established a scholarship fund in honor of its former student government president who was shot and killed in December.

The D’Angelo Bratton-Bland scholarship fund will help student cover the financial cost of college. The university is trying to raise $10,000 by May 1. Contributions can be made to Lincoln University Office of Institutional Advancement, 820 Chestnut Street, Room 301 Young Hall, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101.

Bratton-Bland, 23, was a graduating senior and was serving as the president of the Student Government Association at the historic university.
