MU Health Care to host heart screening
MU Healthcare will hold its free annual Heart Health Screening Day on Saturday. It will run from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m., and will be at the ARC (Activities and Rec Center) at 1701 West Ash St. in Columbia. Although the event is free, the cholesterol check requires at least eight hours of fasting and an RSVP by calling: 573-882-4283.
Dr. Mary Dohrman of MU Health Care will be there to answer health-related questions. Dr. Dohrmann says, “One of my missions is heart healthy lives for everybody. No matter where you’re starting, everybody can have an improved state of health and decreased heart risk. I’m on a mission.”
