Tracking isolated showers heading into Labor Day

Sunday: Conditions remain seasonable today with highs back to the mid-80s. Expect a few isolated showers in the afternoon but outdoor plans are good to go as most will stay dry.

Labor Day: Rinse and repeat for the holiday with highs in the lower to mid-80s. More clouds arrive but rain chances remain widely scattered with only a few pop-up storms in the heat of the afternoon.

Extended: A deep low pressure system remains over Central Missouri until the end of the week leading to slight chances of isolated showers and storms lasting through Wednesday before skies begin to clear in time for Thursday and Friday. Highs remain in line with seasonal averages in the mid to upper 80's.
