Freezing rain Tuesday night- AM Wednesday; possible slick roads

A Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded farther east and continues until noon Wednesday due to the possibility of freezing rain which could lead to slick roads through Wednesday morning. Freezing drizzle and light rain will increase through Tuesday night with ice accumulation becoming likely. Areas most affected will be west of HWY 63 and north of I-70 where temperatures stay at or below freezing overnight.

Ice accumulation of a glaze to a tenth of an inch are likely but some areas could see up to two tenths of an inch of ice. Untreated roads will become slick as well as sidewalks, driveways and parking lots. Use caution if out driving and while walking. Conditions will improve Wednesday afternoon as temperautures climb above freezing in the advised area.
